The challenge

Every year, lawn stones in cemeteries need to be raised to prevent them from sinking further into the ground. Previously, this was a physically demanding task that required the cemetery worker to kneel down and manually lift the heavy stones.

With the new vacuum lifter, this task can now be performed while standing, significantly reducing physical strain on the body. The lifting arm on the trolley allows the stones to be raised without heavy manual effort, making the work both faster and safer.

Our solution

The vacuum lifter from ASP Product has been developed with a strong focus on ergonomics, mobility and ease of use.

With a lifting capacity of up to 100 kg, it allows cemetery workers to handle gravestones without heavy lifting, reducing strain on the back and lowering the risk of work-related injuries.

The complete lifting trolley and vacuum lifter only weigh 13 kg, making it easy to transport and handle during daily work. The unit can also be folded together, allowing for simple storage and easy transportation between different areas of the cemetery.

Installation and customization

The vacuum lifter is equipped with all-terrain wheels, making it suitable for use on both grass and gravel surfaces. This ensures easy manoeuvrability throughout the cemetery, even in challenging conditions.

The suction pad is designed to lift smaller lawn stones and works effectively even under difficult conditions such as frost.

The solution can also handle stones with engravings and attached lettering, making it a versatile and practical tool for cemetery maintenance.
