Aalborg Portland, one of Denmark’s leading cement manufacturers, had a specific need for an efficient lifting solution for their work platforms. For handling and lifting heavy machine parts and tools, they chose the versatile and robust Knap On Crane.

The Challenge

Our Solution

After carefully assessing the available options, Aalborg Portland chose our electric Knap On Crane, specifically configured to lift up to 400 kg.

The model was selected for its precision and ease of use, making it well suited to the demanding tasks on the work platform.

The Knap On Crane can also be quickly installed and removed without the need for special tools, making it an ideal solution for Aalborg Portland, where flexibility is essential.

Installation and Customisation

Although the Knap On Crane is normally designed to operate with a 12V power supply, we made a custom modification for Aalborg Portland so that the crane could operate using a 230V power supply.

The modification was carried out to ensure maximum compatibility with the existing electrical systems on the work platform.

This adaptation demonstrates the versatility of the Knap On Crane and our ability to customise our solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
