Knap On Crane for TDC

In a collaboration between ASP Product and TDC, Denmark’s leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure, we faced a unique challenge. TDC needed a customised solution to handle heavy equipment more efficiently during their infrastructure expansion projects.

Our task was to modify our standard Knap On Crane to meet these specific requirements.

The Challenge

TDC needed a crane with both extended reach and increased lifting capacity. These features were critical requirements for their daily operations.

Standard lifting equipment was not sufficient for the heavy and demanding tasks that required precise and reliable handling of equipment. This created a need for an innovative approach to the design and functionality of our hydraulic cranes.

Our Solution

To meet TDC’s specifications, our team developed a customised Knap On Crane.

The hydraulic crane was equipped with a remote control, allowing precise operation from a safe distance. In addition, the crane’s maximum lifting capacity was increased to 350 kg, and its reach was extended to provide greater flexibility and usability on work sites.

Installation and Customisation

The installation of the customised crane required careful planning, especially regarding mounting on TDC’s trailers.

We installed robust mounting plates to ensure crane stability and improve the handling of heavy loads. This customisation was essential to maximise the crane’s efficiency and safety during operation.
