Lightweight Crane for Floor Grinders

In this case, the customer faced two challenges: a smaller service vehicle with limited cargo space and a need for a simple manual lifting solution without electronic components. The goal was to create a compact, reliable and easy-to-use crane solution that could handle the daily lifting tasks.

The Challenge

The limited space in the service vehicle made it difficult to install a traditional crane solution without reducing the available loading capacity.

At the same time, the customer wanted a manual crane solution without electrical components. This meant the crane needed to be simple, robust and reliable while still providing safe handling of heavy floor grinders.

The solution had to make it possible for one person to handle the equipment without unnecessary physical strain.

Our Solution

ASP Product developed a customised lightweight crane designed specifically for the customer’s requirements.

The crane was:

Mounted in an extra compact mounting plate to fit the vehicle without taking up unnecessary space.
Equipped with a fixed boom and chain hoist, allowing the floor grinder to be lifted in and out manually.
Designed for flexibility, allowing the crane to be removed without tools and moved to another vehicle or trailer.

For companies where space is even more limited, we also offer a folding crane model with an electric wire hoist, providing a compact solution that makes daily handling even easier.
