Crane for Renault Flatbed Truck

In this case, we installed a Knap On Crane Electric Lift with electric extension, wire hoist, and riser extension in a new company vehicle for the Parks and Roads department of Vesthimmerland Municipality.

The crane was reused from the customer’s previous company vehicle but installed on a new base plate in the new vehicle. It is used daily by employees for lifting heavy materials and equipment, helping to eliminate manual heavy lifting and creating a more ergonomic working environment.

The selected crane combines electric extension, wire hoist, and riser extension for increased lifting height.

It enables employees in the Parks and Roads department to handle heavy items safely and efficiently. The crane is easy to operate, takes up minimal space, and the installation does not require additional approvals or vehicle inspection.

Power and Operation

The crane is powered directly through the vehicle’s 12V battery and is designed so that it neither unnecessarily drains the battery nor requires the vehicle to idle during operation.
