How the Slope System Works
The foundation of the Slope System is a rail mounted on the roof ridge. The rails are supplied in 3-metre sections and can be connected to cover the entire length of the roof.
A ladder is connected to the rail using a wheel attachment, allowing the working position to be moved quickly and efficiently along the roof. This provides great flexibility during work and makes it possible to work in several areas of the roof without having to move the entire setup.
The result is a more efficient workflow with fewer interruptions and reduced physical strain.
Efficient Installation of Roofing Felt
During traditional roofing, handling roofing felt often involves heavy lifting on ladders and working in physically demanding positions.
With the Slope System, the roofing felt roll is pulled up the roof using the system’s rope mechanism and securely attached at the roof ridge. The roofing felt can then be rolled out in a controlled manner without the need for heavy manual lifting.
This means that the length and weight of roofing felt rolls are no longer the limiting factor, as the system takes over the demanding handling tasks.
This creates both a more efficient workflow and a significantly improved working environment.
Improved Working Position During Installation
Installation of roofing felt still requires professional experience and precision, but the Slope System significantly improves working conditions.
When the roofing felt is supported by the system, there is no need to constantly support or guide the roll manually. This allows the roofer to work in a more upright position with a better overview of the process.
This reduces strain on the back, shoulders and knees and lowers the risk of long-term wear caused by repetitive work tasks.
Flexible Rail System for Large and Small Projects
The rail system can be adapted to different roof sizes and work tasks. The modular rails make it possible to create a solution suitable for both smaller roofs and larger roof areas.
As the ladder runs along the rail, moving between work areas on the roof becomes quick and simple. This saves time and makes the working day more efficient.
At the same time, several employees can work on both sides of the same roof using the same rail installation.
Ridge Angle for Smaller Projects
As a supplement to the rail system, the ridge angle provides a compact solution for smaller tasks.
The ridge angle requires less space, is easier to handle and can often be installed by one person. It is particularly useful on roofs where rails cannot be installed due to chimneys, roof windows or other obstacles.
The ridge angle is compatible with the other tools in the Slope System and therefore provides the same ergonomic benefits as the complete rail installation.
Working Environment, Ergonomics and ESG
The Slope System is developed with a focus on improving the working environment within roofing. The system eliminates a large part of the heavy lifting normally associated with handling roofing felt while also reducing the need to work in physically demanding positions.
This results in less physical strain on the body, fewer lifting-related injuries and improved working conditions for employees.
For companies working with ESG initiatives, the Slope System directly contributes to the social aspect (S) through improved working conditions, increased safety and prevention of physical wear among employees.
Investing in ergonomic aids such as the Slope System is therefore not only an investment in efficiency but also in employee wellbeing and the company’s long-term sustainability.
